“ Absolute must-have if you enjoy sushi! Server was very knowledgeable and gave us honest opinions on things we hadn't tried before and made some great recommendations. The one menu item you cannot miss out on are the rice tots! We ended ordering a second serving. One of my best bites for 2024! Textural heaven - crispy crunch from the rice, creamy melt in your mouth tuna, heat from the jalapeno, and bursting with flavor. ”
“ Blue Fin Sushi delivered an incredible experience with fresh, delicious dishes and playful presentation. I tried the Caterpillar Roll, Salmon Twist, Dragon Roll, Takoyaki, 24-piece Sashimi Plate, Spicy Crispy Tuna, Daily 4-piece Temari, and Special Hosomaki--all were outstanding. The sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth fresh, the rolls were flavorful and beautifully crafted, and the Spicy Crispy Tuna had the perfect crunch and heat. The artistic Temari and comforting Takoyaki were delightful highlights. Service was good, very attentive. With its cozy ambiance and creative plating, Blue Fin Sushi is perfect for a date night or a meal with friends and family. Highly recommended! ”
“ What can be said about Bluefin that hasn't already been celebrated here as well as in local publications? Highly recommend a reservation. They are very responsive via email tips They always have the freshest ingredients and the value you receive in today's economy is wonderful as well. Uni here is always fresh and as the name suggests I hi go my recommend the bluefin tuna in their set menu or ala cart You cannot go wrong here. Ambiance is a bit upper scale compared to other darker sushi places, and I love the more light and bright atmosphere. I will also add; my daughters love the karage, gyoza, and udon. If you want to sample some of the best sushi Portland has to offer, I recommend stopping by Bluefin Tuna & Sushi! ”
“ Came to bluefin tuna and sushi on a few occasions! I really enjoyed their crispy rice sushi. The service at this restaurant is good and the workers are friendly. I would suggest getting one of there combos to share with friends as you do get to try more sashimi that way. The food is aesthetically pleasing and tasty, what else is there to say?! ”

I ordered the Blazer Roll and the Albacore Heaven roll with a cocktail. Delicious! I shared one piece with each person in my dinner party then ended up fighting to keep some for myself! I love Bluefin and hope to go back one day. ”
“ Hits the spot for affordable and delicious sushi!! They've got a wide variety of unique rolls to try, fresh fish that is beautifully presented, great portion sizes, all in a spacious and inviting, down to earth space. Service is quick and so friendly. I'd highly recommend the special (we got course C). It felt nicely thought out and curated, very worth it for the amount of food that we got. Will definitely be coming back soon! ”
“ This is my fav sushi spot. Last time I went we tried some happy hour items. The crispy rice tots were amazing. The day we went it was with spicy tuna. Becca was our server. We've had her before and she always has great recommendations. We love coming here and food and service is always perfect. I can't wait to come back. It's the only thing I'm willing to go to Portland for.lols Oh! One great thing I appreciate about the happy hour is they don't require you to have an alcoholic beverage. It's any drink. I'm always DD so I was glad sparkling water or a soda qualifies. ”
“ One of my favorite sushi spots in town! Best happy hour deal by far. Service is always accommodating even if they're busy. Cute and clean space as well. The sushi quality is fresh without breaking the bank. Their happy hour is everyday from 4-6pm, and it's a great deal! I always come back here as they are always consistent with the quality. ”
“ My partner and I both ordered the Course C meal that each came with 3 bluefin temari (otoro, toro, akami), 2 salmon temari,1 hamachi temari, a prawn temari, another temari that I couldn't place, a 6 piece hosomaki of your choice, miso soup, salad, and veggie tempura. The meal was a good size and I could only eat about 1/2 my food. Sushi was very good and staff were attentive and friendly. ”
“ We LOVED the food here! The quality of the fish and how tasty the nigiri was has actually made my boyfriend even more of a sushi person. We went last week and he already wants to go back! We went on a Wednesday night and it was quite busy I am taking one star off because the staff seemed overwhelmed and like they were scrambling. We waited at the door without being greeted for about 10 minutes and by the time we were greeted 5 other people had showed up. However, our server was very nice! We loved the toro crispy rice tots and the bluefin special! We also tried the salmon twist roll which was just okay, next time we would skip this and focus on the crispy rice tots and the bluefin special. ”
